Home state
We are headquartered in Texas. Texas does not maintain a general “Seller of Travel” registration regime.
States we do not currently serve
Certain U.S. states require sellers of travel to register with the state and to make specific consumer disclosures. Strato Curated Collective is not currently registered as a Seller of Travel in California, Florida, Washington, or Hawaii, and we do not currently accept clients whose primary residence, billing address, or business address is in those states.
If you reside in one of those states and would like to be notified when we can serve you, our website will show you a Service Coming Soon notice and give you the option to join an expansion notification list. Joining that list does not create a client relationship, does not commit us to accept your trip, and does not guarantee that we will offer service in your state in the future.
How we handle client funds
Except for planning, research, and service fees paid directly to Strato, client payments are made to the supplier — the airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator, transfer provider, or insurer — through our payment processor. Strato does not maintain a client trust account, and does not act as an escrow agent for supplier funds. Deposits and payments to suppliers are governed by the supplier’s terms.
We are not a supplier
Strato is a travel-planning business and is not the provider of transportation, lodging, or travel activities. Suppliers are independent contractors, and their tariffs, fare rules, and cancellation terms govern the services they provide. Registration by a state — if and when we obtain it — does not constitute the state’s approval or endorsement.
Independent agents
Independent travel advisors affiliated with Strato act under our supervision on the Strato platform and are bound by our Agent Agreement and our Independent Agent Disclosure.
