This page is maintained by Strato Curated Collective (Kilgore, Texas) to describe our current policies and disclosures. Strato Curated Collective is the operating brand of Variety Strategic Travel Solutions LLC. It is provided for information only and is not legal advice. For questions, contact info@stratocurated.com.
Who we are. Strato Curated Collective is the operating brand of Variety Strategic Travel Solutions LLC, a Texas limited liability company with a mailing address of 1100 Stone Rd, Suite 118, Kilgore, TX 75662. Contact us at info@stratocurated.com.
Scope. This policy applies to information we collect through stratocurated.com, our traveler, agent, and administrator portals, and communications you exchange with us or with an affiliated independent travel advisor acting on our platform. It does not apply to third-party sites, apps, or suppliers you interact with directly.
Our audience. We are a Texas-based travel-planning business and primarily serve U.S. residents. We do not target our services to individuals in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, and this notice does not offer EU/UK GDPR rights. Serving a U.S. traveler who happens to travel to Europe does not, by itself, subject us to those laws.
1. Information we collect
You give us: name, email, phone, mailing address, travel preferences, passport-page images and expiry dates, emergency contacts, dates of birth (for suppliers who require it), traveler documents you upload to our secure document center, quote-request details, agent-application information, tax identification (for 1099-eligible agents; encrypted), electronic signatures and consents, and correspondence.
Automatically: IP address, browser and device information, referral URL, pages viewed, and cookie/similar identifiers (see our Cookie Policy).
From third parties: supplier confirmation data from the travel providers we book on your behalf (accommodation providers, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, wholesalers, booking platforms, transportation providers, activity providers, and travel protection providers); payment status from our payment processor; and delivery status from our transactional email provider.
Payment data. Card numbers are entered directly with our third-party payment processor and are not stored on our systems.
2. How we use information
- Respond to quote requests, prepare proposals, and book travel.
- Provide, secure, and improve our services and portals.
- Process payments, refunds, chargebacks, and agent settlements.
- Send transactional emails (quote issued, deposit received, itinerary, travel documents, agent onboarding).
- Send occasional service updates or offers where permitted; you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy or legal violations.
- Comply with law, tax reporting, and travel-industry regulations.
3. Sensitive personal information
Travel planning sometimes involves what state laws call “sensitive personal information” — for example, passport numbers, government IDs, precise date of birth, and, when volunteered, medical or dietary details relevant to a trip. We use this information only to plan and book the trip you asked for and to comply with supplier and legal requirements. California residents have the right to limit our use of sensitive PI to those purposes; see Your rights below.
4. How we share information
- Travel suppliers we book on your behalf, described by general category — accommodation providers, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, wholesalers, booking platforms, transportation providers, activity providers, and travel protection providers — only as needed to complete the booking.
- Independent agents assigned to your file — bound by our Agent Agreement, confidentiality, and compensation rules.
- Service providers who operate the platform under contract, described by general category: hosting and infrastructure, database and file storage, authentication, payment processing, transactional email, business email and productivity, analytics, and accounting. We do not publicly list individual vendors, and we do not treat any planned or evaluation-stage integration as an active recipient of your information until it is in production use.
- Legal & safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Strato, our clients, our agents, or the public.
- Business transfers: in a merger, sale, financing, or reorganization, subject to this policy.
5. “Sale,” “sharing,” and targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation. As of the effective date of this policy, we do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising, and no advertising cookies or pixels are active on our website. If we later enable advertising technology that state law treats as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising,” we will update this section, disclose the activity, offer an opt-out on our Your Privacy Choices page, and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as valid opt-outs where required.
5.1 Affiliate referrals and tracking
Affiliate disclosure: Strato Curated Collective may receive a commission if you complete a qualifying booking through this link, at no additional cost to you. Learn more.
Strato Curated Collective participates in, or has applied to participate in, travel and hospitality affiliate programs — including CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction), the IHG Hotels & Resorts affiliate program, and other travel supplier partner networks. Some links on our site are affiliate or referral links. When you click one, the destination site may set its own cookies or use pixels, click identifiers (for example, a CJ click ID appended to the URL), and web-beacon technology to attribute the click to us and, if you complete a qualifying booking or action, to pay us a referral commission or fee.
Information that partner networks may receive directly from you (not from us) includes your IP address, browser and device information, the page that referred you, the affiliate click identifier, the date and time of your click, and — where you complete a booking on the partner’s site — the transaction identifier, order value, and currency needed to calculate the commission. We do not share your name, email address, phone number, payment card details, or travel itinerary with these affiliate networks. Data collected by a partner on the partner’s own site is governed by that partner’s privacy policy and cookie disclosures, not this one.
Status of tracking scripts on this site. As of the effective date of this policy, no affiliate-network tracking pixels or third-party advertising cookies are loaded on stratocurated.com; where affiliate participation is active, attribution happens on the partner’s destination site after you click through. If we later embed a partner tracking pixel, tag, or SDK directly on our site, we will list it in our Cookie Policy, update this section, and — where the activity qualifies as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under state law — offer an opt-out on our Your Privacy Choices page and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. For a full program-by-program breakdown, see our Affiliate Disclosure.
Your controls. You can decline or delete cookies in your browser, use tracking-protection or private-browsing modes, and opt out of affiliate-network tracking directly with the networks (for example, CJ Affiliate publishes an opt-out and privacy notice at cj.com/legal/privacy). Blocking these mechanisms does not affect your ability to browse or book with us; it only affects the partner’s ability to attribute a referral commission.
Material connection disclosure (FTC 16 CFR Part 255). Strato Curated Collective has a paid or commission-based relationship with the travel suppliers, hotel brands, and affiliate networks referenced on this site. We may earn a commission, referral fee, or booking credit when you click an affiliate link or complete a booking through a partner. This does not increase the price you pay.
6. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above and to satisfy legal, tax, accounting, dispute, and recordkeeping obligations. Travel booking records, financial records, signed agreements, and consent artifacts are retained for at least the applicable statute-of-limitations period. Marketing lists are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your record.
Google Sign-In and Authentication
Strato Curated Collective is the operating brand of Variety Strategic Travel Solutions LLC. Google Sign-In is an optional authentication method for traveler, authorized independent advisor and administrator accounts. You may always use an email and password instead.
- When you choose Google Sign-In, Strato receives only the basic Google account information needed to authenticate you and connect you to the correct Strato account, such as the Google account identifier, name, email address and profile image when provided.
- Strato does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar or other Google services.
- This information is used only for authentication, account access, security, fraud prevention and account support.
- Strato does not sell Google user data and does not use it for advertising.
- Authentication information is protected and retained under this Privacy Policy’s existing security, retention and legal-compliance provisions.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. Specific controls will be described publicly only after they have been implemented, tested in production, and documented. Strato does not currently hold independent security certifications, and no system is perfectly secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security. See our Trust page for our general approach.
8. Your U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have some or all of the rights below. We honor these rights for residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and Texas under their respective laws, and for other U.S. residents to the extent applicable law requires.
- Access / Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Portability — receive a copy in a portable format.
- Opt out of “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising (if/when applicable to us).
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (California).
- Appeal a denied request.
- Non-retaliation for exercising your rights.
How to submit a request. Use our Your Privacy Choices page or email info@stratocurated.com. We verify identity before disclosing or deleting personal information — typically by matching request details against information we already hold. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf; we may require proof of authorization and, in most cases, direct confirmation from you.
Global Privacy Control (GPC). When we engage in activity that qualifies as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, we treat a browser GPC signal as a valid opt-out request for the browser and device that sent it.
9. Restricted states — service not currently offered
Strato Curated Collective is not currently registered as a Seller of Travel in California, Florida, Washington, or Hawaii, and is not accepting clients whose primary residence, billing address, or business address is in those states. Residents of those states may join our expansion notification list — see Seller of Travel Disclosures.
10. Children
Our website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 without parental consent. Travel bookings that involve minors are handled by the responsible adult on record.
11. International visitors
We operate in the United States. If you access our site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the United States under U.S. law.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and, where required, we will notify you.
