Plain-English summary. Some links on this site are affiliate or referral links. If you click one and complete a qualifying booking or action on the destination site, Strato Curated Collective may receive a commission or referral fee. You pay the same price either way — the commission is paid by the supplier or the affiliate network, not by you.
1. Material connection (FTC 16 CFR Part 255)
Strato Curated Collective is the operating brand of Variety Strategic Travel Solutions LLC and has a paid or commission-based relationship with the travel suppliers, hotel brands, and affiliate networks referenced on this site. In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose that relationship clearly and conspicuously wherever a compensated link appears.
2. Programs we participate in
Strato Curated Collective participates in, or has applied to participate in, travel and hospitality affiliate programs, including:
- CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction) — a global affiliate network operated by Commission Junction LLC. Attribution and payout are handled by CJ on the destination site using CJ’s own tracking parameters and cookies.
- IHG Hotels & Resorts affiliate program — for bookings at IHG-branded properties completed on IHG-operated websites after clicking through from Strato Curated Collective.
- Other travel supplier partner networks — additional hotel, cruise, tour, and travel-protection affiliate programs may be added over time. Material additions will be reflected here and on the Cookie Policy page.
3. What we do NOT share with affiliate networks
We do not share your name, email address, phone number, payment card details, or travel itinerary with affiliate networks. Information that an affiliate network may receive is collected directly from youby the destination site after you click through — for example your IP address, browser and device information, the referring page, the affiliate click identifier, the date and time of the click, and, if you complete a booking on the partner’s site, the transaction identifier, order value, and currency needed to calculate the commission. What the partner collects on its own site is governed by the partner’s privacy policy and cookie disclosures, not this one.
4. Status of tracking scripts on stratocurated.com
As of the date shown at the top of this page, no affiliate-network tracking pixels or third-party advertising cookies are loaded on stratocurated.com. Where affiliate participation is active, attribution happens on the partner’s destination site after you click through an outbound link. If we later embed a partner tracking pixel, tag, or SDK directly on our site, we will:
- list the technology in our Cookie Policy;
- update §5.1 of the Privacy Policy and this page;
- gate the technology behind cookie consent so it only loads after you opt in;
- where the activity qualifies as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under U.S. state privacy law, offer an opt-out on our Your Privacy Choices page and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals.
5. How disclosure appears near compensated links
Wherever a compensated outbound link appears on the site, we place a short disclosure immediately beside or above the link, before the click, in language substantially similar to:
“Affiliate link — Strato Curated Collective may receive a commission if you complete a qualifying booking through this link, at no additional cost to you. The supplier controls availability, pricing, booking terms, cancellations, and fulfillment.”
6. Editorial independence
Advisor recommendations on this site are based on suitability for the traveler, supplier reliability, and destination knowledge. A supplier or brand paying a commission does not, by itself, cause us to feature or recommend it, and does not change our advisor’s duty to act in your interest as a travel-planning client.
7. Your controls
You can decline or delete cookies in your browser, use tracking protection or private-browsing modes, and opt out of affiliate-network tracking directly with the networks. For example, CJ Affiliate publishes an opt-out and privacy notice at cj.com/legal/privacy. Blocking these mechanisms does not affect your ability to browse or book with us; it only affects the partner’s ability to attribute a referral commission.
